SAI DURGA TESTING SERVICES PVT LTD(SDTS) , formerly known as AM Testing Services, was established in 1973 as the first test station approved under the Gas Cylinder Rules by the Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur (PESO). In 2000, the station was taken over and renamed as SAI DURGA TESTING SERVICES PVT LTD.

SDTS specializes in the inspection, testing, certification, and issuance of revalidation certificates for Industrial Gas Cylinders such as Hydrogen, Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, Argon, Nitrogen, Medical Oxygen, Air, Breathing Air, and Helium. The certificates issued are recognized Nationwide for the purpose of refilling and statutory testing of cylinders.

With a legacy spanning over two and half decades, SAI DURGA TESTING SERVICES PVT LTD operates a fully equipped test station staffed by highly qualified and experienced personnel. In addition to gas cylinders, the company also undertakes pressure testing of all types of Fire extinguishers, including CO₂, DCP, ABC, Water Mist, Clean Agent, Foam types (both portable and trolley-mounted units), ensuring high-quality service for its valued customers.

The test station is ably led by Mrs. Latha Menda, who has served as Managing Director for the past 25 years. Supporting her leadership, Mr. V. V. S. Murthy, a Graduate Mechanical Engineer and a Gold Medalist and also a Postgraduate in Industrial Engineering from IIT Kanpur, holds the position of Director (Testing and Quality).

Shri M. V. S. D. Prasada Rao, M.Tech, serves as the Director (Technical and Business Development). With nearly 38 years of experience at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) where he retired as Deputy Director General, he brings a wealth of expertise in Product Certification (ISI mark), Management System Certification (ISO standards), and Laboratory Accreditation. His in-depth knowledge covers High-Pressure and Low-Pressure Cylinders, Fire Extinguishers, and their associated accessories.
